LogBook Discovery is a flexible application. For this reason, it does not matter if your quality lab wants to analyze dirt, shirts, widgets, or gadgets. Furthermore, not all Quality Control labs are the same therefor, LogBook Discovery gives you the ability to create tests and test sets (a group of tests). Reports can be scheduled to run automatically, and data can be compared against customer spec limits and statistical process control.
With LogBook Discovery, data can be grouped by Plant code, Process, Product, test date and so forth. As always, if data is entered manually, LogBook Discovery can check user inputs against limits thus, reducing the number of keystroke errors that can occur.
LogBook Discovery has predefined templates
LogBook Discovery first started automating Textile Testing Laboratories. For that reason, templates have been created for common devices and tests used in Textile Yarn production facilities. Data can be automatically collected from devices such as the Uster AFIS (AFIS/AFISPro/AFISPro2) , Uster HVI1000, Uster Evenness (UT3-UT6), Uster Tensorapid & TensoJet, Textechno Statimat, Instron, MTS, twist and hairiness testers and most electronic balances.
