TechWare LogBook Discovery is a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that provides you with a system to keep laboratory data in one central place. It provides automatic data collection as well as manual inputs for non-electronic devices. Custom report generator as well as SPC trend analysis are included as a standard feature.

SPC or statistical process control is a method of Quality Control which uses statistical analysis to monitor and improve the quality of a given process. Take a look at LogBook Monitor for more info.

A histogram is a bar chart that show the number of data points that fall within a range of measurement. In the below example, the data is represented as a Gaussian Distribution histogram.

Control Charts are measurements in time. The chart is displayed around the Average of the samples and include indicators for Standard Deviation (Std). Spec limits are displayed above and below. Trends such as “x” number of points above and below the average can also be selected.
